A painting I did especially for a compendium book of my paintings, "Only Visiting This Planet". SF author Arthur C Clarke kindly wrote the foreword for my book.
I was flattered to hear that this was one of Mr Clarke's favourite paintings of mine. He was apparently intrigued as to whether it was a small bird with a tiny minnow-sized whale, or the bird and the whale are both enormous...
